TRACOE® PHON ASSIST I SPEAKING VALVE

DESCRIPTION:

The TRACOE® phon assist I is a new speaking valve designed to fit the 15mm connector of any tracheostomy tube. The speaking valve is adjustable, allowing either speech or free inspiration and expiration when speaking is not required. Models are available with an integral oxygen support port for weak and hypoxic patients.

The adjustable airflow feature allows the patient to set any desired resistance to expired air, which promote the restoration of physiological PEEP to ensure optimum oxygenation.

INDICATIONS FOR USE:

For use as a one-way speaking valve on a tracheostomy tube.
